A World Of Sound - Overtone World Music: listen to a Live-recording of a solo concert by Igor Ezendam, with Overtone Singing, Didgeridoo, Shruti-Box, Korean Drum, Bodhran, Hang, Singing Bowl, E-tampura, Cagon, Cumbus.

The concert took place at the Sala della Nunciatura, Balerna, Switzerland, inaugurating the exhibition ‘I Buddha del Tibet’ organized by the Association ‘El Volcan’ of Vacallo, Switzerland and ‘Tibetan Lama Art’ of Hamburg, Germany.

About this Track:
The electric tampura is a little white box with lots of buttons and dials, recreating the sound of the traditional Indian string instrument. In America I had the good fortune of studying with Indian singer Pandit Mukesh Desai, leaving me with a sweet taste for the Indian sound.
